A new Experience of a different education
« build a boat and dream your school »
« build a boat and dream your district »
For five years now, more than 80 primary and secondary schools or youth clubs have built their educational projects around this extraordinary experience.
Many of them have carried on this adventure by participating in the Scholar Meeting of Traditional boats* To discover in teams the way to the open sea;
Tomorrow they will participate in the
JUNIOR NAUTIC CHALLENGE 2003.
(* The Meetings are open to the world of education, whatever the orgnization: schools, clubs, associations, towns, etc).
Pascal Conq ,the ship architect of nine boats involved in the Vendée Globe with the Finot/Conq company has become the technical godfather of the boat under study for the
Junior Nautic Challenge 2003 .
A 7.5m kit boat to build up easily which will enable the practice of rowing, sailing at a basic level, "délire" sailing and nautical jousts.
It is a programme to seduce the Young in need of actions and glide, media-carried events in which they will be the builders and the sailors of a boat which will also be used as a teaching tool !
The project is to be developped beginning of 2001
